Joe Davoli was only three years old when his parents overheard him humming the “Star Spangled Banner” in the backseat of their car. They were on their way from a fourth of July concert. Thinking that he may have a knack for music, they started Joe with fiddle lessons. Today, Joe is regarded as an accomplished and versatile fiddler. He is a consummate performer of several different fiddle styles, including old time, bluegrass and Celtic. In addition to a busy performance schedule, Joe also enjoys teaching fiddle. He has numerous students, children and adults. He has published a popular fiddle instructional book. Furthermore, he has two award winning solo releases. Hid often driving and always sweet fiddle sound has complimented countless recordings. Simply put, Joe plays the fiddle as an extension of himself. Whether it be the pace of a reel or the velvet stroke of a waltz, his style is captivating.
